sexual harassment laws seriously FLAWED!
ok, I decided to write this little Intel based on an experience I literally JUST had after getting off the phone with a lawyer while looking for legal help against a certain individual (who will remain nameless for now) that has begun harassing me on an Internet networking site called Target (www.target.com) He has left me sexually explicit e-mails despite my protests and adamant negative remarks about his e-mails, calling me all kinds of sexually graphic names and stalking me to the point where he began posting disgustingly crude porno photos and videos on my profile there. I called a lawyer to see what could be done about this issue as it was obviously blatant sexual harassment, and even can be viewed as a form of Internet stalking. However, he informed me of a law that is in existence which prevent prosecution of such obvious sexual harassment assaults. He stated to me that first off in order to prosecute a sexual harassment case it must occur within the workplace or by a person in authority such as a landlord or what have you. Ok...I can understand that. however, I work from home and the Internet IS my workplace, but I was soon to find out that really doesn't matter. now I can accept that...ok...but what he said next was what REALLY floored me, and has prompted me to write this bit of Intel in the first place so people can become aware of how serious this REALLY is. (you may want to sit down for this as it may upset some people, but it is the God's honest truth) He told me that "small business that consist of less than 15 personnel are not held accountable for the sexual harassment in the workplace law!" HOW MESSED UP IS THAT! He also told me that he was currently working on a case involving an unnamed doctor (obviously he can not give me complete details due to client confidentially laws) has been continually sexually harassing not only various employees within his workplace, but also some of the patients as well, but that because of this flaw in the law he was unable to prosecute this man. This Dr. a man who is supposed to protect and HEAL people, a man who is supposed to be trusted with your well being has been accused of raping patients while they were under anesthesia, and even having explicit sexual affairs (through intimidation of status) with various people within the workplace. (he didn't specify whether the people were male or female however, I presume they were female but don't quote me on that) I believe that something very drastic needs to be done to change this law, and for those of you who were kind enough to read this bit of Intel and are as outraged as I am about this obscenely twisted law that protects scumbags like this I urge you to write your United States Congress in protest against this law! (details on the case that made this an issue can be found on various websites around the Internet including this one here...http://writ.lp.findlaw.com/grossman/20060110.html) In all honesty my case with the Internet stalker pervert seems pretty small in comparison, and I have taken it upon myself to do something about this gross misjustice to the American small business employees. THEY HAVE RIGHTS TOO! and they should no more have to put up with sexual harassment at the workplace than any other employee of bigger business. If you believe as I do in this, PLEASE help to prevent this law from remaining in the books and write your congressman to protest this law! Thank you,

this really burned my rear end when I was told this information, and I have now taken it upon myself to inform the entire Internet how we truly need to change this law. Thank you for reading this Intel and I DO hope you decide to help me out by bringing this issue to congress and making them aware of the need for change in this regard.
